The Clock widget is just that - a clock. Use the edit drop down to select the type of clock, ie digital, analog, LED. In addition you can select your timezone. Calendar widget

The Calendar widget not only tracks the date but also allows you to search for iCal events that you can add. Use the edit dropdown to select "search for events". You can then enter a search term, try holidays, a sports team, etc. You will be returned a set of search results and you will be able to select a result and have those events added to your calendar. You can also completely customize the appearance of the widget by clicking on the color picker icon to change the background color, the background border to be square or rounded, add a transparency level and even add a custom background image.

Stocks widget

The Stock widget, powered by Yahoo! Finance, allows you to keep track of your financial portfolio at all times. After selecting the Stock widget, click on the edit drop down and select "Edit Symbols". You can then enter in a list of comma separated stock symbols and save your data. The edit dropdown allows you to switch from the initial list view to a scrolling ticker view and vice versa, and to turn on or off the stock chart at the bottom of the list view. The MP3 Player lets you play any web-based playlist (xspf). Select this widget and then click on the edit dropdown to search for a new playlist or enter the URL of one of your playlists. You can also enter the URL of one of your own MP3s. Additionally you can configure the shape, size, visualizations, and more. Also if you use the box.net widget you can select a song from box.net, make it public and play it inside of the MP3 widget. Youtube Videos widget

The YouTube widget allows you to view videos from YouTube. After selecting the widget, click on the edit drop down to select a specific category - you will immediately see results for the most relevant videos for the specific category chosen including Top Rated, Most Discussed and Most Viewed. You can then type in a new search phrase to see videos for that search item or you can use the edit drop down to select a user search and then enter the name of the user that you're looking for. All the videos that are returned can be clicked on and viewed inline, within the widget. Once a video is playing, you can "drag and drop" it from the mini onto your startpage or into the Slide Show mini, to easily create your own video collage. The Weather widget displays weather forecasts from the Weather Channel.
